Yankee candle's

Honestly what girl does not love a divine scent? well I definitely do, and that's why I just couldn't resist picking up these beauts in a local candle store when walking by!
As you may of noticed they're smaller than the typical Yankee candle, well that's because these are the sample sizes. The main intention is that you give them a little try before you buy and it has worked for me for sure.
Now I could sit here all day long trying to explain to you what they smell like but I honestly feel that the names of each candle is self explanatory!

Nyx soft matte lip cream dupe - Collection Cream puff

Now i'm sure we've all heard of the Nyx soft matte lip creams, and I'm almost definite that we all would of had one if it wasn't for the all the hassle!
Nyx is a US based company, so you can only purchase items online (meaning postage and packaging prices are involved).. But wait, what if I told you that you could pick up a very simular item from your local drugstore and for a fraction of the price!
Collection's cream puffs are a great dupe for Nyx soft matte lip cream and are less hassel. the only down side is that because of the high demand they're usually sold out or in low stock so be sure to grab one if you see one!

Small Avon haul

Hey guys! Yes, I know I need to start blogging more frequently! Recently I've been quite busy and haven't been able to balance blogging with school, but guess what IT'S SUMMER NOW, so I'm sure all will be good from now on.
Here's just a quick post about one of my recent hauls. I may be reveiwing these later on in the holiday but for now if you want any reviewed sooner leave a comment below and i'll do so!
I honestly hardly ever get my hands on any Avon products, but if my mum is ordering something I might as well try out a couple things right? And I must say I'm pleasently surprised with the price and quality of most of them (especially the highly pigmented lip glosses). Also I totally LOVE the idea of their mini lipstick samples!

Birch Box - June

Birch Box £10 + £2.95 p&p
Yes I know this is lasts months glossy box and I sincerely apologist for the lateness and promise this is the last time!

Birch Box - June
Ohh la la, just a little peak of what's inside.

Model co eye pencil
I truely do love the handy addition on this product, I mean who doesn't lose their sharpeners here and there! This liner is actually very pigmented and easy to apply. My only prob is the short stay power!

Coola classic sunscreen
I honestly don't have much to say about this product. Yes, it is a great non-heavy feel sunscreen (suitable for oily skin) and I love how it leaves no white-residue but other than that I just see it as a regular sunscreen.

Beauty Protector protect and detangle leave in

Unfortunately I've been unable to try this product as I am currently in the process of a month long trial and review of another hair product.

Colour Club professional nail lacquer

Whilst these colours are defo bright and bold ,I do feel that the colours slightly dull your skin tone. Also, in comparison to my nails inc varnishes I do believe the this requires many coats in order to not be streaky!

Glossy Box - June 2013

Glossy Box £10 + £2.95 p&p
Before I continue with this blog post I'd just like to apologize for how late I've posted this (and also the following blog post) .. I promise I'll never do it again!

As you can see this month's Glossy Box edition has been quite neutral, with three sample sized products and three full sized products, you can't really complain. Now as for their choice of products I'm not completely overwhelmed but still fairly pleased.

Nail inc: Portobello
This nail inc varnish is so far probably the most frequently used product of this box. Although this sample is only 4ml I still LOVE it! the coral pink compliments all tanned or medium/dark skin complexions and is totally a must have for the summer!

Organic Surge moisturiser

Organic surge is defo a new discovery for me. This cream claims to nourish, condition and hydrate your skin and it does just that! This intoxicating gingery/lemon grass scented moisturiser automatically hydrates and replenishes skin once in contact! despite it being quite pricey I am quite certain that this will be re-purchased (It's just too amazing!)

Figs & Rouges Lip Balm
Before I say anything I'd just like to give credit to Figs & Rouges for their extravagant packaging and definite ability to outshine others! This lip balm is defo different to the others as it looks and just like a lip gloss but then works to moisturise your lips. the balm also has a tinted soft pink finish that settles with a lovely shimmer.

Helen L Waterproof Lip Liner
Now this product is yet another recent discovery. The lip liner gives subtle matte finish as well as being incredibly kind and soft to the lips. I also love the colour as it's a gentle beige with pink undertones.
Paul Mitchell Cream Gel & Leave-In
Unfortunately I've been unable to try this product as I am currently in the process of a month long trial and review of another hair product.

Cleansing Products!

I simply cannot express how important cleansing your skin before going to bed is, especially for people like me (with oily/combination skin) It can really save you a lot of hassle.
Down below I've include my four currently most used products as of this moment. They are also all very inexpensive, what a bonus!

Clean & Clear Exfoliating Daily Wash 150ml

£2.99

whatever order of the first two products don't necessarily make a difference, though using at least one is defo vital in order to maintain clear healthy skin.
In this daily wash Clean & Clear insert micro-granules that claim to effectively remove excess oil, dirt & dead skin cells that can block pores & lead to spots.
As this this product is oil free it is super-suitable for my type of skin and works amazingly with a pair of good exfoliating gloves. The only disappointment I may say is that for a product with quite a couple harsh ingredients it is a bit to weak to give you that worth-while scrub!

 RATING:  5/10

Superdrug Deep Action Blackhead Anti Bact Scrub 150ml

£2.00

As I said above using either product will not make a significant difference. Although this scrub is not oil free, it does give a satisfying feel after gently but powerfully scrubbing away at your skin. I must also point out some of the great ingredients in this product e.g. ceteral alcohol (moisturizing), salicylic acid (spot fighting ingredient)...I know this product is not perfect but I honestly don't think I have any bad thoughts to add to it!

RATING: 8/10

Superdrug Essential Facial Toner

£0.10

using a cotton pad this toner removes excess dirt that was unable to be removed from your face wash. I know what you're all thinking this price is amazing!..but there must be a catch. Well despite the obviously simplicity of it all, there is no major catch and might I just throw in that the ingredients are just fab too! This is totally a must have!

RATING: 9/10
Superdrug Essential Cleansing Lotion

£0.49

This cleansing lotion is very convenient for those lazy days where we might have forgotten that face wash (woops!). well there's no need to worry anymore as this product is a 2 in 1, cleasing as then moisturising. simply apply as normal moisturizer and then wipe off with a handy cotton pad.
My only disadvantage of this product is that it may have quite an dewy finish which does not co-operate with oily skin.

Simple Spot Zapper

Simple Rapid Action Spot Zapper - £5.49
(on sale now, £3.65)

All girls get those suborn little blemishes whilst on their period, and as a mid-teen trust me I know how frustrating it gets. But there is a solution, a spot zapper and not just any spot zapper, a Simple spot zapper!
now, whilst advertising this product simple claim that this spot zapper improves the appearance, size and redness in just 4 hours!

Spot fighting ingredients
ZINC PCA - absorbs excess oils
    CHAMOMILE - skin soothing anit-irritant
WITCH HAZEL - tones and fighting pores
LAVENDER - calms and soothes redness

Whilst I like the all natural touch to this product I still believe that it's a bit too mild to have any major effect on my blemishes. I also do not like the fact that its a roll-on as it makes it slightly unsanitary to roll around the same bacteria used on your previous spot.

RATING - 6/10
